Account Manager - Savory Ingredients (Remote - US Based) The Savory Ingredients team focuses on achieving excellence for our clients in Taste, Texture, & Nutrition in line with our F&B Powerhouse mission. We continually combine new taste directions and bright science to create exciting new products that keep pace with the ever-changing market demands.
With years of industry expertise, we make it happen by supporting formulators and flavors not only in their quest for a winning and authentic taste profile - but also in simplifying labels and reducing or replacing unwanted ingredients. You Will: This Account Manager role will develop and implement the account strategy plan to ensure the realization of planned business results and long-term customer relationship objectives. The customer base includes a mix of existing accounts along with a market segment focus to pursue new relationships, support our distributors, and represent curated product portfolios.
+ Define and implement a strategic account plan. Outline tactical activities in support of the said plan. + Identify prospects and implement projects with a focus on key products, processes, and innovation.
Lead new product development, product modifications, and new product launches. + Meet top line and profitability goals. + Deliver and present reporting, based on defined performance indicators, at specified intervals.
+ Lead contract negotiations with the respective accounts and ensure the execution of sales contracts. + Build sustainable cross-layer networks in the defined accounts by both direct engagements and by positioning key stakeholders to the right level in the account to speed up development and brick wall-running business. + Monitor and benchmark competitive products, market requirements, and competitive business strategies (competitive profiling).
+ Coordinate technical support or after-sales service activities to develop the account + Frequent domestic travel is required. + Previous experience in the food or flavor industries preferred. + Strong examples of identifying new business opportunities, negotiation skills, creation and maintenance of close customer relationships, and organization & discipline related to sales processes are required.
