Loan Recovery Officer At Geo Multi Micro Credit Finance Ltd

REPORTS TO: General Manager / CEO

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Loan Recovery assistants

OBJECTIVE

• Plan and advise management on matters referred from all Head Office / Branch (es) of GEO, and liaise with same in the discharge of non-performing loans; valuation of clients properties used as securities.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Recovery of overdue loans

• Liaising with external legal partners in the registration of documents at Land Title Registry, etc

• Assisting Auctioneers after judgment to recover legal debts

Duties And Responsibilities

• Liaising with the external solicitor on all loan recovery matters.

• Liaising with bailiffs to ensure that writs are promptly served on all defendants.

• Liaising with court clerks and registrars on all matters relating to recovery.

• Liaising with Value to ensure the prompt and professional valuation of property legally attached for auction.

• Liaising with auctioneers on all matters relating to sale properties.

• Writing report on all legal cases and terms of the settlement, and presenting it to superiors for review.

• Registration of mortgage at Lands commission.

• Registration of transfer of ownership of vehicles used as security.

• Conducting searches at Lands Commission to verify the authenticity of Land documents offered as security.

• Assisting in the identification and location of all properties offered as security.

• Assisting in drawing of location plan of properties used as collateral.
